I wish all the games of the era that this retro 8-bit game harkens back to, were as crazy and as fun as I found this game to be.
Im normally not one for those repetitive, so-called, "Endless Runner" (which just makes no sense to call them that to me), but I find myself playing this game over and over again when I die. I found it a little tough to begin with. But, once I had played four or five rounds I started to get into the groove of the game and I just find it so much fun to play.
I think that the animation style, the hilarious sound effects, the nostalgic soundtrack and just the gameplay in general is absolutely worth the two dollar asking price. Oh, and make sure to buy the "Double Jump" upgrade from the store once youve collected 2,500 coins in the game, I found that it made the gameplay a whole lot more exciting and it helped out a lot.
Plus, I just cannot stress enough how glad and grateful that I am that the developers included no advertisements and no in-app purchases in this game. In fact, if the game has used the vile IAP business model. Well, I wouldnt have bought the game at all and I wouldnt have even downloaded it even if it was available for "free.".
IAPs are a bane and plague upon all games and pretty much anywhere they are disgustingly utilized. So, above all I approve of this game for that reason alone. And I would hope that more developers would see that they dont need to be unethical, crooked and immoral and use IAPs to make money from a game they are selling. At the end of the day, though, I blame the customers who support that evil business practice by making in-app purchases in games, more so than I do the predictably corrupt and unethical developers who use that garbage.
